چکیده
The modulation of the immune system is a major mechanism through which probiotics exert beneficial effects on health. Probiotics, including lactic acid bacteria (LAB), have been reported to enhance innate immunity. purpose this study was screen for LAB strains with excellent immunostimulatory activity isolated from kimchi. We selected five promising (Limosilactobacillus fermentum MG5489, Lactococcus lactis MG5542, Lacticaseibacillus paracasei MG5559, Latilactobacillus sakei MG5468, and curvatus MG5609) that exhibited immune-stimulating by inducing production nitric oxide (NO) pro-inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-6, IL-1β in RAW264.7 cells. significantly increased phagocytic cells nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation. Furthermore, safety determined using hemolysis antibiotic susceptibility tests. stabilities adhesion abilities these gastrointestinal tract (GIT) were also determined. Taken together, findings suggest potential be novel

Probiotic Properties and Physicochemical Potential of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Moroccan Table Olives
Background: Lactic Acid Bacteria are a group of Gram-positive bacteria which are widely used in the food industry as organic ferments called starter cultures. In this study, Enterococcus faecium, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactococcus lactis, Weissella paramesenteroides, and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum isolated from Moroccan table olives were tested for their acquisition of probiotic and tech...
متن کاملCharacterization of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Sauce-type Kimchi
This study was carried out to investigate the isolation and characterization of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) from naturally fermented sauce-type kimchi. Sauce-type kimchi was prepared with fresh, chopped ingredients (Korean cabbage, radish, garlic, ginger, green onion, and red pepper). The two isolated bacteria from sauce-type kimchi were identified as Pediococcus pentosaceus and Lactobacillus br...
متن کاملAntifungal Activity of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Kimchi Against Aspergillus fumigatus
More than 120 isolates of lactic acid bacteria obtained from Kimchi was screened for antifungal activity against Aspergillus fumigatus. Approximately 10% of the isolates showed inhibitory activity and only 4.16% (five isolates) exhibited strong activity against the indicator fungus A. fumigatus. The five isolates showed a wide rang of antifungal activity against A. flavus, Fusarium moniliforme,...

AIM A study was conducted with the objective to isolate probiotic microorganisms from swine intestine. MATERIALS AND METHODS In this study 63 isolates (24 caeca, 24 colon mucosal scrapings, and 15 rectal swab samples) were collected from Large White Yorkshire pigs. The isolates were inoculated and grown in de Man Rogosa Sharpe broth at 37°C with 5% CO2 for 48 h and subjected to morphological ...
